A Coruña, in Galicia, will be about two and a half hours from Porto with the construction of the high-speed rail line between Porto and Vigo, the vice president of Infraestruturas de Portugal said this Monday in Matosinhos.
According to Carlos Fernandes, responsible for the railway sector at Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP), "anyone who comes from A Coruña to catch the plane will be just over two hours away", estimating the time traveled at two hours and 23 minutes.
The head of IP made a presentation of the planned investments in the area of high-speed rail, during the Portugal Railway Summit 2022, which takes place this Monday and Tuesday at the Porto de Leixões cruise terminal, in Matosinhos, in the district of Harbor
The connection from Porto to the northern tip of Galicia is part of the high-speed line to be built to Vigo, which, according to the official, will be carried out in two phases.
