CSN-A Matosinhos: João Castro Lima wins Grand Prix

The Riding Centre of Porto and Matosinhos, in Leça da Palmeira received this weekend, the National Jumping Competition A

In a rainy weekend, 24 races were carried out over the three days of the competition, with more than 200 combinations in competition.

João Castro Lima, with Bogard de Grandcamp, won this Sunday, April 23rd, the Grand Prix Câmara Municipal de Matosinhos with 1,45m obstacles, achieving the only faultless double ride (50,37s) of the four combinations that competed the tiebreaker.

Henrique Drumond was second on Contro Z (0/4-47,45s), while Ricardo Gil Santos completed the podium with Volgann Du Guejoubert (0/8 - 51,34s). Hugo Carvalho and Kilate N finished in fourth place (0/12-43,19s).

The Small Grand Prix Banco Carregosa, held on Saturday, was won by Gonçalo Ribeiro Pinto with Icalverdi de Ceia in a tie-break disputed by seven sets. Martim Portela Morais was second with Baghera Des Cedres and Eduardo Netto de Almeida with Clinton du Temple closed the podium.

The next competition to be held in the CHPM will be the International Jumping Competition 2* Atlantic Front, and will take place between 16 and 18 June this year.
