Meet the camouflaged animals and enjoy special offers is the carnival program of the biggest and greenest zoo in the North
To mark Carnival, between February 18 and 21, the Santo Inácio Zoo will offer special discounts to all children in costumes who take advantage of the school break to learn about the masks of the zoo's inhabitants, from camouflaged reptiles to birds that change their feathers depending on the season.
The 20% discount promotion is valid for children between the ages of 3 and 12, provided they meet the following conditions: they enter the park already masked and eager to learn more about the animal world. The offer is in effect from Saturday, on the weekend before Entrudo, from February 18 to 21.
This campaign aims to captivate new generations to learn about some of the characteristics of the animal world, such as the changing feathers of birds or reptiles that try to disguise themselves and go unnoticed, as a way to make them aware of the great mission of nature conservation and endangered species.
For the days preceding the carnival revelry and for Carnival day, the Santo Inácio Zoo has also prepared activities to please all tastes, among which there is a face-painting workshop, where the most difficult thing for the younger ones will be to choose the painting that best matches their fantasy.
In addition to the activities listed, the Santo Inácio Zoo reminds us that, during February 16 and 26, the Wild Lights exhibition can be visited after 5pm with the purchase of daily tickets that now cost 9.50 euros for children's tickets.
