Glories of Leixões fall in the group stage of Liga Portugal Legends

The former glories left a good impression despite being eliminated from the competition, which was won by Sporting CP.

The Portuguese team Leixões SC was eliminated from the Portugal Legends League in the group stage, which took place last weekend in Nazaré.

Leixões got off to a good start in the tournament of former glories of Portuguese soccer, qualifying for the group stage after a 5-3 win against Torreense and a two-all draw against Arouca.

In the group stage, the babies of the sea ended up losing 6-2 to SC Braga, with goals from Pedras and Moreira, and 1-3 to Vitória SC, with a goal from Pedras.

Sporting CP was the big winner of the 2nd edition, beating SC Braga on penalties by 2-3.
