After a three-year break, IDF Fall – by Interdecoração is back to present the new names in decoration in Portugal, through the “Makers Showcase”. Dedicated to the creativity of new brands and young designers, this space aims to make known the creators who best bet on contemporary and sustainable design. The Plantscaping trend is one of the main highlights of the event
After the success of IDF Spring, which took place in April this year, the IDF Fall – Design and Decoration Fair is back to showcase the talent of the new generation of creators, with a contemporary approach to the alliance between digitization, traditional and sustainable practices. Taking place from the 8th to the 11th of September, the event prepares to boost the Plantscaping trend (indoor landscaping) and presents solutions for several areas: Furniture & Lighting, Home Accessories, Kids & Stationery and, finally, Living & Flowers.
The event aims to establish itself as the biggest showcase of decoration and design, presenting the work and ideas of various designers and brands. Exclusively for professionals, Exponor received 7,000 national and international visitors in the last edition.
The “Makers Showcase” space appears, again, with the aim of continuing to give stage to a generation of recent and current creatives who have been meeting the demands of an increasingly demanding and informed market. This space is dedicated to brands and designers who use new, more contemporary and sustainable approaches. Here will be brands such as Atelier Joana Simão, Mineral Organic Crafts, Dirty Dishes, Carapau, Braida, BePolar Design and others to be confirmed.
The “Pure Collection” area returns to IDF with the aim of reinventing the ways in which products are displayed and presented, in a collective space aimed at furniture, lighting and home textile companies. Plantscaping is one of the trends in interior decoration, so there could be a space dedicated to this theme at the event. IDF Fall will also have a schedule of talks and conferences, one of which is about Metaverso na Decoração.
This year's edition of IDF Fall is once again allied to the E+E digital platform, created by Exponor - a design and decoration marketplace, which allows the creation of a global ecosystem of the sector and closer relations between visitors and exhibitors, facilitating the crossing of experiences and “expertise”.
Taking place from the 8th to the 11th of September, this fair consolidates the wealth of the return of personal contacts in the decoration business, creating moments of sharing and inspiration, encompassing all professionals in the sector.
The IDF will take place at Exponor – Porto International Fair (Av. Dr. António Macedo ◦ 4450-617 Leça da Palmeira – Portugal).
