The crew member was taken to a hospital unit
A 46-year-old man was rescued, in the morning this Sunday, January 15, after showing symptoms of heart attack on board a cargo ship.
According to the statement, the request for assistance was made at 8:00 am, when the ship Corebest OL was nine kilometers from the bar of the Port of Leixões.
After the request, a boat from the Lifeboat Station proceeded to rescue the man to the marina in Leixões.
Around 10:35 am, the crew member was assisted by the INEM, and then followed to a hospital unit in Matosinhos.
