About 650 people participated in the science, physics and astronomy activities
The Municipality of Matosinhos and Fisua - Physics Association of the University of Aveiro joined forces to organize another "Mucéu, science day and night of the stars".
The gardens of the Quinta de Santiago Museum had their doors open between 4pm and midnight on Saturday and Sunday and received nearly 650 people in this event dedicated to science and astronomy, who took up the challenge launched by the municipality and participated in the various activities.
Science and physics workshops, portable planetarium sessions, lectures, observation of the sun, moon, and planets through a telescope were some of the activities carried out in this edition of the Mucéu that involved 135 families.
This initiative is part of the City Hall's annual plan of events, since 2015, and is held in the gardens of the Quinta de Santiago Museum, a privileged space for stargazing.
