New urban art mural

Work alerts to the importance of preserving the environment



A new urban art mural was inaugurated on Saturday, January 21, in S. Mamede de Infesta. The work of art, by the artist Tiago "Fedor", is located at the traffic circle of Rua Henrique Bravo and complements the mural implemented in 2021.

The goal is to reinforce the importance of preserving the environment, valuing biodiversity and more sustainable environmental practices.

The artwork promotes the close harmony between ecological solutions technology, the environment, and animal species. To this end, it represents some ecological solutions, namely, the electric car, wind turbines and solar panels.

The structure, the responsibility of Ascendi, was supported by the Matosinhos City Hall.

The inauguration ceremony of the mural was attended by the mayor of Matosinhos, Luísa Salgueiro, the councilor for the Environment and Energy Transition, Maria Álvares, the president of the Union of Parishes of S. Mamede de Infesta and Senhora da Hora, Leonardo Fernandes, the artist Tiago "Fedor" and representatives of Ascendi.
