Born in Matosinhos, Patrícia Ribeiro Faro has been president of the Matosinhos Delegation of the Portuguese Red Cross since 2018. With a degree in Social Work, a postgraduate degree in Legal Problems of Drugs and Drug Addiction and a master's degree in Legal Psychology, Patrícia is also the technical director of a shelter for women and children victims of domestic violence, since 2005. She was also a member of the Dissuasion Commission of Drug Addiction in Porto at the Institute for Drugs and Drug Addiction and worked as a social service technician and later as president of the Commission for the Protection of Minors in Matosinhos. Always working for the benefit of society, he participated in several lectures, projects, meetings and training activities related to the themes of violence and addictions. She is a volunteer in different associations but completed on November 23, 2018 around 20 years of volunteering dedicated to the Delegation of Matosinhos of the Portuguese Red Cross.
