"A Linha do Mar" is a work of art, sculpture by Pedro Cabrita Reis, who was born in Leça da Palmeira, in front of the beach. The piece is composed of HA400 iron beams and presents a new perspective on the sea horizon line. Composed of five groups of beams and is exclusively built using this material. It frames the landscape in a scheme of vertical lines of variable dimensions on a horizontal base along 40 meters of the waterfront. The new sculpture is installed next to the Boa Nova Lighthouse and enriches the artistic heritage of Matosinhos, in terms of contemporary public art.
