Conversation with writer Nuno Camarneiro
Nuno Camarneiro is the next guest of Encontros com Autores and will be in Matosinhos on 18th April, for a visit to Augusto Gomes Secondary School and for a meeting open to the public, at the Florbela Espanca Municipal Library, moderated by Sérgio Almeida.
Nuno Camarneiro is the author of the critically acclaimed novel No Meu Peito Não Cabem Pássaros, also published in Brazil and France. In 2012, he won the LeYa prize with the novel Debaixo de Algum Céu, already translated into Italian and soon into French. In 2015, she published Se Eu Fosse Chão, a book of short stories and Não Acordem os Pardais, illustrated by Rosário Pinheiro and her first foray into children's literature.
The Meetings with Authors is an initiative of the Matosinhos Municipal Reading Plan, which, every month, brings books and readers closer together.
