For the first time, Matosinhos hosted the BCR Super Cup (Wheelchair Basketball)
The Pavilhão Municipal de Guifões hosted this afternoon the game that pitted BC Gaia and APD Braga teams against each other.
The final horn gave victory to the team from Braga with a final score of 73-62.
The Cup delivery ceremony had the presence of several guests, with special emphasis on the Councillor for Sports of Matosinhos City Hall, Vasco Pinho, the Regional Director of IPDJ, Vítor Dias, the Vice President of the Portuguese Basketball Federation, Manuel Albano and also the President of Custóias, Leça do Balio and Guifões Parish Council, Pedro Gonçalves.
