Black Coffee: Afro House Master to Perform in Matosinhos

The Grammy-winning Afro House master, Black Coffee, is returning to Portugal. The performance will take place on May 31st at Praia do Aterro.

Doors open to the public at 3:00 PM, with nine consecutive hours of music expected. The full line-up will be revealed soon by the organizer, Poetry. Tickets are already on sale, with prices ranging between €20 and €90.

With an enviable career spanning since the 90s, South African DJ and producer Black Coffee is an essential figure in global electronic music. By fusing African rhythms with deep house, jazz, and electronic elements, he created a unique sound often dubbed “Afropolitan House.” He has taken his talent to the world's biggest stages and festivals, performing in over 80 countries. His resume also includes high-profile collaborations with stars such as Drake, Usher, and Alicia Keys.
