Cultural Visit to the Filigree Museum

The Cultural Visits of the Custóias, Leça do Balio and Guifões Parish Union started on Wednesday, with a visit to the Filigree Museum, in Gondomar

This initiative of the União das Freguesias, aims to promote active aging and democratize access to culture and knowledge, providing its residents aged 65 and over with a diverse range of visits to places of interest near their area of residence. They learned a little more about filigree, its manufacturing process, its certification and its echo in Portugal and in the world. There was also a visit to an exhibition by Filomena Silva Campos and a short walk along the Douro River. These visits will take place on a monthly basis, with inscriptions being announced in due course.
