Another Cultural Visit of the Custóias, Leça do Balio and Guifões Parish Councils took place, this time to the Water Pavilion, in the City Park of Porto

The Water Pavilion was one of the most visited facilities at Expo 98, and is now completely renovated, with lots of interactivity and a perfect balance between fun and learning. The entire Water Pavilion exhibition route has a river as a common thread, presenting the importance of water, its properties and characteristics, and drawing on the strong connection of the Portuguese to rivers and the sea. The participants were able to experience a set of experiments that alert and demonstrate the importance of water to life, the different environments in which it is present, its various forms of use and its behavior in different situations, connecting scientific and technological issues in the area of water resources to the interests of ordinary citizens. The visit also included a brief stroll through the gardens of the City Park. This initiative of the Junta da União, aims to promote active aging and democratize access to culture and knowledge, providing its residents aged 65 and over a diverse range of visits to places of interest near their area of residence. These visits will take place on a monthly basis, with registration being announced in due course.
