Free cinema sessions for all 1st cycle students
About 500 students from the municipality's 1st cycle schools watched the film “Dimensão S” last week in the auditorium of the Centro Social Padre Ramos, in Lavra.
As in the last two years, due to the pandemic situation, it was not possible to carry out activities outside the school context, and in order to promote the exit of students from school, the Municipality of Matosinhos made these free cinema sessions available.
“Dimensão S” is a musical comedy, which in the school circuit aims to encourage healthy lifestyles, namely among the youngest and increase food literacy.
This film is part of the “Movimento S” project, which includes a television program that will be broadcast on SIC Mulher and a Roadshow, which will be promoted in July, in the municipality of Matosinhos. In this event, a showcooking will be promoted and public figures will be present. There will also be a concert and screenings for vision and oral health.
The Mayor, Luísa Salgueiro, and the Councilor for Education, António Correia Pinto, were present for the opening of the film session.
