European Week for Waste Reduction

This year's European Week for Waste Reduction takes place from 19-27 November, with the central theme being "Circular & Sustainable Textiles"

This year, the Week highlights the strong impact that textiles have on our planet, with the creation of actions that bring more circularity to the textile sector.

The Union of the Parishes of Custóias, Leça do Balio and Guifões joins the commemorations of the Week by carrying out actions.

In this sense, during these days, the following actions will be promoted:

• 21 to 25 November: (Re) creating personalised bags - Centro Social e Paroquial do Padrão da Légua

• 22 to 24 November: There is Christmas with textiles - Centro Social e Paroquial do Padrão da Légua º

• 24th November: Elaboration and exhibition of reusable textiles - "Recircular" - Guifões Parish Council

• 25th November: Recycling is what's on - Centro Social de Leça do Balio

• 26 November: Largo Market - Circular Solidarity - Largo Padre Joaquim Pereira dos Santos in Guifões.
