Musical Show and Fireworks return to the Rotunda of the Atlantic Axis Square
The tradition of the Great New Year's Eve is back to Leça da Palmeira, more specifically, to the traffic circle of the Praça do Eixo Atlântico (near the Mobile Bridge).
After 2 years of interregnum, this tradition returns with its usual model, a musical show scheduled for 23h00 and the usual fireworks, which will be launched at 00h00.
In the words of the President of the Parish Council, Paulo Carvalho, "the return of this tradition is great news for all citizens who usually come to this place to celebrate the entry of the new year. The mayor also said that "the animation is guaranteed and the fireworks show will be an excellent way to enter 2023 with joy and enthusiasm.
In this final stretch of the year, the mayor also made an assessment of his first year in office: "We are very happy for everything we have done for our citizens, in the most diverse areas of intervention. Our first year in office surpassed expectations and we want to continue united in 2023 in favor of the citizens."
Paulo Carvalho also said that "next year will bring with it new projects and challenges", and the executive is prepared to start some new things as of January. "We have a cohesive team dedicated to public service. The next year will be full of novelties and differentiating projects", concluded the mayor.
The Big New Year's Eve is organized by the Parish Council and has the usual support of CMM. The full program can be seen in the attached poster.
