Happiness in companies as an investment, new ways of working, depression and burnout, sustainable happiness, inclusion and diversity, happiness as a metric for the future, are some of the subjects in focus throughout the day.

Happiness Camp is part of the "Be Matosinhos - Mês das Empresas" (Be Matosinhos - Companies Month) program, which will be held in Matosinhos, from September 14 to October 14, and which consists in carrying out a set of specific activities for the sector with the aim of supporting the economic activity and the business fabric of the municipality.

At the opening session, representing the municipality was the Councillor for Economic Development, Trade and Tourism, Marta Pontes, who welcomed all those present and stressed that Lionesa Business Hub is "the epicentre of the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem". "It is an ecosystem that depends on people. We are talking about talent and talent exists where there is quality of life, where there are career opportunities. In Matosinhos and in the region, it is a reality. We work hard to create the best conditions for the companies that settle in our territory and for those who choose Matosinhos to live", stated Marta Pontes.

In the Happiness Camp opening session was also present the Sports Councillor, Vasco Pinho.

The Lionesa Group, as a member of the Monasterium Association, also presented today the cross-border project "Caminho da Arte".

This is a route of contemporary art, with more than 260 km, which will cross other municipalities until the Galician city of Santiago de Compostela.

The presentation took place in the auditorium of the Monastery of Leça do Balio and was attended by the President of the Municipal Assembly of Matosinhos, Palmira Macedo, and the councillors Fernando Rocha, Marta Pontes and Vasco Pinho.

The first sculpture of the route is by the architect Álvaro Siza Vieira and is located in the monastery's farm. Called "Temple", the sculpture is defined as "a space of introspection, which promotes a personal encounter and seeks to give visibility to the importance that the monastery of Leça do Balio had in the Portuguese roads, towards Santiago de Compostela".

In the year that marks 20 years of existence, the Lionesa Group also unveiled the graphic image that represents its brands, designed by Eduardo Aires.
