In the 17th edition of LeV it will be possible to see the exhibition in the Municipal Gallery of Matosinhos, "100 texts on a journey", the result of the project "The Journey and the Books", promoted by the Municipal Library Florbela Espanca together with the schools of all groupings in the municipality of Matosinhos. This exhibition shows, through QR Codes, 100 readings made by students, based on 100 texts about journeys by Gonçalo M. Tavares. It will also be possible, at the Florbela Espanca Municipal Library, to see the documentary exhibition "The struggle of the fishermen of Matosinhos during fascism" about the 71-day strike that the fishermen of Matosinhos carried out in 1959 and from which they emerged victorious.

LeV then goes to the municipality's schools and to the younger public on May 11th, 12th and 13th, with the already usual LeVzinho, which brings four special sessions to this public, guided by Patrícia Figueiredo, Joana Caetano, Mariana Rio and Marta Bernardes, and a program of activities for the younger public at the Florbela Espanca Municipal Library, throughout Saturday, May 13th.

For the general public, the proposed journey continues on Friday afternoon, May 12th, with the opening session of the debate tables, at 6pm, at the Matosinhos Municipal Library. The starting point is the "State of the World", with Álvaro Domingues, Carlos Magno and Francisco Seixas da Costa as protagonists, in a conversation moderated by Maria João Costa.

The programme continues until Sunday 14 May, the closing date of the initiative.

Participation in the LeV is free of charge and limited to the capacity of the space.
