Next Saturday, May 14, between 2:30 pm and 6:00 pm, Jardim Basílio Teles in Matosinhos receives the project “Liberty”
This project presents to the public an animation program with music, dance, performing arts and the creation of a graffiti mural with 11 screens, with messages from the youth community of Matosinhos, which will be in charge of Graffity Writer André “Root” Dias.
The DJ “Disca Riscos” will present a 1-hour set, with audio messages previously recorded by young people from the council's associations. Performances by the groups “Projeto Vertical” and “Tuna Académica do IPAM”, dance performed by the “Escola de Dança Attitude” and even a Beatbox tournament, organized by the “Portugal Beatbox League” are some of the highlights of the “Projeto Liberdade” that will be presented by Diogo Divagações.
The event will end with a performance by DJ Overule.
This project by the Municipality of Matosinhos appears as a way of appealing to the participation of young people in the implementation of the celebrations of the fiftieth anniversary of the 25th of April, whose celebrations will last until 2024, involving them in moments of cultural animation and, at the same time, promoting youth association.
