João Tordo was the guest author of the January issue
The Meetings with Authors returned to Matosinhos, to schools and to the Florbela Espanca Municipal Library.
The writer João Tordo, winner of the José Saramago literary award and author of several novels and detective novels, was the guest author of the month of January and was in Matosinhos yesterday for two sessions as part of the Meetings with Authors, an activity that is part of the Matosinhos Municipal Reading Plan (MLP).
During the morning João Tordo talked with students from the Boa Nova Secondary School, in Leça da Palmeira, and in the evening with Sérgio Almeida and readers from the Florbela Espanca Municipal Library, in moments that were well participated.
The sessions of Meetings with Authors of the Matosinhos Municipal Reading Plan are held on the last Tuesday of each month, at schools, at 10:15am, and at the Florbela Espanca Municipal Library, at 6:30pm. Admission is free.
Clara Não is the next author, on February 28th, followed by Luís Cardoso, on March 28th.
