Metro was vandalized and forced passengers to leave Matosinhos

A subway train was vandalized, this Monday, near Viso station, in Porto



The vehicle, which was following in the direction Porto-Póvoa de Varzim, became unroadworthy and passengers were forced to abandon the vehicle at the next station, in Sete Bicas, after the contents of a fire extinguisher were dumped. The case was reported to the PSP.

According to Metro do Porto, everything happened because "a group of young people used the fire extinguisher of the vehicle itself in the game, but ended up pouring the contents that the safety equipment contained.

The incident occurred around 6 pm, but the circulation was not affected. All passengers had to get out, and the train went on its way, so that the necessary cleaning and safety conditions could be guaranteed.

Also according to the company, the act of vandalism was reported and delivered to the PSP, which will investigate and try to identify those responsible.
