More and more teachers are on strike across the country

The adhesion to the indefinite strike, called by Stop has been more visible in the regions of Greater Porto, Greater Lisbon and Algarve

Yesterday, teachers completed the fourth day of strike, with an adherence above expectations that has affected the functioning of several schools in the country, some closed, according to the All Teachers Union (STOP).

The national coordinator of STOP told Lusa that teachers "have joined in a very significant way", considering that the mobilisation exceeded their expectations and is a "lesson in citizenship".

The protest continues today.
