Miguel Seoane, Galician saxophonist, is the soloist invited by Orquestra Jazz de Matosinhos (OJM) for another concert included in the cycle "New Talents in Jazz", which will take place next Saturday, at 22h00, at Teatro Municipal de Matosinhos Constantino Nery.

Leader of his own project, the Miguel Seoane Trio, the saxophonist has collaborated in the last years in projects with guests such as Gerald Clayton, Dick Oatts, Tineka Posta, among others, having presented his work in Holland, Spain, Italy and Portugal, where he is already a regular presence.

At only 26 years of age, Seoane's musical universe coexists a strong connection to the jazz tradition, namely the language of musicians such as Lennie Tristan, Warne Marsch and Lee Konitz, with a clear influence of contemporary music and the most current jazz currents, with the consequent search to challenge the limits of language and more conventional forms.

The meeting between Seoane and OJM will be directed by José Pedro Coelho and arranged by saxophonist Hristo Goleminov and trombonist Daniel Dias.
