Poetic visit to the Quinta de Santiago Museum

António Carneiro highlighted in the first edition of the year of "Q2 - Museum open until midnight"

The first edition of the year of "Q2 - Museum open until midnight" took place on the evening of Thursday, January 19, at the Quinta de Santiago Museum, in Leça da Palmeira, with another theatrical visit to this museum space, once the home of the Santiago family.

António Carneiro was surrounded, during his life, by writers and poets. He himself said that he was born a poet, but destiny wanted him to be a painter.

The theme of the exhibition that is on show at the Museum until February 26th is "António Carneiro. O poeta com pincéis" (part of the celebration of António Carneiro's 150th birthday), this poetic visit highlighted the symbolism associated with the poems of the artist and other contemporaries.
