The "Corta-Mato" (cross-country race) took place yesterday morning, January 11th, at the Senhora da Hora School Grouping, as part of the School Sports
The initiative, whose ambassador was Rosa Mota, former athlete and Olympic champion in athletics, was attended by about 500 students who walked the trails of Carriçal Park, near the municipal swimming pool of Senhora da Hora.
Vasco Pinho, Municipal Councillor for Sports and Director of Matosinhos Sport, was present at the final awards ceremony and to congratulate the young participants.
