Steam Christmas Train will circulate between Porto São Bento and Ermesinde

On December 17, 18, 22 and 30 and also at the beginning of next year, on January 7 and 8, CP - Comboios de Portugal will hold a special Christmas edition of the Historic Steam Train, this time on the route between Porto São Bento and Ermesinde

In this edition, there will be four trains per day, with a composition towed by steam locomotive 0186 and five historic carriages, with 254 seats.

During the journeys, entertainment will be guaranteed by a folk dance group.

In the direction Porto São Bento/Ermesinde the first train of the day will depart from Porto São Bento at 15h03 and is scheduled to arrive in Ermesinde at 15h29, while the second train will depart at 19h55 and is scheduled to arrive in Ermesinde at 20h21.

In the direction Ermesinde/Porto São Bento the trains leave Ermesinde at 16h40 and 21h25 with estimated arrival in Porto São Bento at 17h18 and 22h10, respectively.

During these trips, customers will have the opportunity to visit the Urban Park of Ermesinde, where they can visit the Christmas Village and admire the largest Christmas Tree in the country.

The price, for each one-way trip, is 10 euros for adults, while the price for children, from 4 to 12 years old (inclusive), is 5 euros.

Holders of tickets for the Steam Christmas Train may also travel, without limitation, on Porto's urban trains during the day.
