On Wednesday afternoon, in Guifões, on February 22nd, in the Parish Hall, took place the public meeting of the Matosinhos City Council

We had the opportunity to talk about some important projects for the territory of Guifões: the definitive resolution of the Passos Manuel and Monte Ramalhão Schools.
The need for the construction of two traffic circles, in Passos Manuel Street (confluence with Jorge Maia Av. and Salgado Zenha Av.) was addressed and, finally, the Municipality's commitment in the acquisition of the land where the Guifões Castro is located was thanked.
Before the beginning of the agenda a vote of regret was presented, for the death of Mr. João Santos - President of the Parish Council of Guifões between 1982 and 2005, which was unanimously approved, followed by a minute of silence.
