Connection of the metro Senhora da Hora - S. João Hospital and the cycle path Trindade - São Mamede de Infesta were two of the issues highlighted
The usual ordinary public meeting of the municipal executive was held this afternoon in the parish council of São Mamede de Infesta, following a decentralization strategy approved in November last year by the City Council, which defined the holding of monthly public meetings of the executive by the parishes of the municipality, in alphabetical order.
The objective is to bring the citizens closer to the local government, making the functioning of the local government bodies known and encouraging civic participation in the resolution of individual and collective problems.
Among the issues addressed during the period before the agenda, the following stand out: the construction of the underground connection between Senhora da Hora and Hospital de S. João/ Pólo Universidade, in Oporto, the gantries/highways of the A4 that contribute to the conditioning of metropolitan mobility (penalizing the residents of São Mamede de Infesta), the intermunicipal bicycle path that will connect Trindade (Oporto) to São Mamede de Infesta (Matosinhos), housing problems, namely regarding rental issues, among others.
