ULSM was one of the finalist organizations in the first edition of the Wellbeing Awards, an initiative that aims to distinguish and reward companies with the best practices of Health and Wellbeing directed to employees.
The Wellbeing Awards, an event promoted by Workwell, which took place in June at the Electricity Museum in Lisbon, aimed to distinguish the organizations that stand out for the programs they develop and implement with the objective of promoting the Wellbeing, Health and Happiness of their employees.
ULSM competed in the category of companies with more than 1001 employees, integrating a group which also included the Centro Hospitalar do Tâmega e Sousa, EDP Energias de Portugal, Jerónimo Martins, LIDL Portugal, Nestlé Portugal, Novo Banco and Fujitsu, among others.
If for the organization, the number of applications (over 100) exceeded all expectations, revealing a "growing concern of companies in Portugal with the well-being of employees in their organizational culture", for ULSM, this was another opportunity to publicize its commitment to best practices and promotion of initiatives that enhance happiness. Remember that in 2021, ULSM was the first health institution to be certified by Standard NP 4552 _ Management System for Conciliation between Professional, Family and Personal Life.
The Wellbeing Awards is an initiative of Workwell, a company specialized in implementing health and well-being programs in organizations, and of AGIS - Association for Management and Innovation in Health, with the official support of Aon Portugal, a professional services company in the risk, retirement and health areas, and of Multicare.
