Municipality of Matosinhos received counterparts from Braga and Vila Franca de Xira
Matosinhos received, on January 24th , the visit of two committees from the municipalities of Braga and Vila Franca de Xira with the purpose of sharing best practices and experiences in the sports area.
The mayor, Luisa Salgueiro, accompanied by Vasco Pinho, councilman in charge of sports, and Henrique Calisto, executive director of Matosinhos Sport, hosted the meeting with the delegations led by Sameiro Araújo, vice-president, responsible for sports, of the Minho municipality, and João Pedro Baião, sports councilman of the Municipality of Ribatejo.
In addition to the presentation of the situation of Matosinhos in the sports field, visits were made, with the technical monitoring of teams from Matosinhos, to the Sports Center and Congresses of Matosinhos and the municipal pool of Senhora da Hora as well as sports equipment abroad.
The visit took place under the MAD3 subprogram of the network Municipality Friends of Sport.
