About 100 tons of waste were delivered, representing an increase of almost 60% over the previous year
The journey of the Mobile Waste Centres continued throughout LIPOR's eight associated municipalities, having been present in 73 different places.
In total, citizens delivered 112 tons of waste to these collection points, which is equivalent, in practical terms, to the weight of about four passenger transport buses, representing a 59% increase when compared to the same period in 2021.
LIPOR created this solution in partnership with the associated municipalities, so that the waste that can be delivered here does not end up in the garbage. Since January 2021, citizens have mobile recycling centers at their disposal, as an incentive to recycle and separate waste.
