The parade of about 400,000 students begins at 2pm, a route that ends, as usual, in front of the City Hall building.

The gathering will take place in Praça da República, with the procession going down Rua de Camões, Rua dos Heróis e Mártires de Angola, Praça da Trindade, Rua Clube dos Fenianos and Avenida dos Aliados until Praça do General Humberto Delgado.

The passage of thousands of students will require "the adjustment of car circulation throughout most of the day on Tuesday", reports the local authority. The parking restrictions will start at 10am "on the streets where the parade will pass, but also on some adjacent arteries".

From 1pm, there will be road cuts, "covering an area that extends from Camões Street to General Humberto Delgado Square" and at the time of the start of the parade, "the circulation in Sá da Bandeira Street will be made only in the direction South - North between D. João I Square and Formosa Street".

The traffic and parking restrictions planned for the 9th will be maintained until 10pm and can be consulted in detail, here.
