AGROSEMANA has already started

Matosinhos present in one of the biggest fairs of the national agricultural sector

Started on September 1, another edition of AGROSEMANA - Agricultural Fair of the North, in Póvoa de Varzim, a reference in the national agricultural sector events.

The municipality of Matosinhos was present at the event, making the territory known through a stand, focusing on the strengthening and consolidation of the brand "Matosinhos World's Best Fish". In addition to gastronomy, the Matosinhos stand made known the heritage, the works of architects Álvaro Siza Vieira and Eduardo Souto Moura, the coastline and sliding sports.

The opening session of AGROSEMANA was attended by the Minister of Territorial Cohesion, Ana Abrunhosa, the Mayor of Matosinhos, Luísa Salgueiro, the president of AGROS - Union of Milk Producers Cooperatives, Idalino Leão, and the president of Ágrima - Agricultural Cooperative of Matosinhos, Fernando Hora, among other personalities.

AGROSEMANA appeared in 2013 with the aim of promoting and valuing the national milk production, giving visibility to the work of cooperatives and milk producers.

In addition to the exhibition of animals, machinery and equipment, agri-food products, vegetables and flowers, the program also features concerts, workshops, competitions, a children's area, a food court and lots of entertainment.
