Brazilian entrepreneurs in Matosinhos

Working visit shows the advantages of investing in the territory

A delegation of Brazilian entrepreneurs from the technology sector travelled to Matosinhos yesterday for a working meeting, following contacts established during the Web Summit, Europe's largest technology conference, held in Lisbon from 1 to 4 November.

The delegation, comprising CEOs and representatives of several leading companies from Brazil, was received by the mayor of the city, Luísa Salgueiro, and the councillor for Economic Development, Trade and Tourism, Marta Pontes.

The aim was to learn about the advantages of investing in the territory.

The Municipality of Matosinhos, it should be remembered, was present at the sixth edition of the Web Summit, which had more than 70,000 participants from 160 countries and more than 2,600 companies present.

The stand "Matosinhos, a blue ocean of opportunities" made visitors aware of its potential, namely its path towards sustainability and carbon neutrality with the dissemination to partners of some of the programmes developed in the territory in this field.
