Improvement works with the financial support of the Câmara de Matosinhos
The Parish Church of Salvador de Lavra has recently carried out a set of conservation and restoration works of the Parish Church, a religious temple dating from 1721, which celebrated three centuries of existence, in a community strongly linked to the sea and farming.
The church's restoration and improvement actions counted with the financial support of the Matosinhos City Hall.
The Mayor of the Matosinhos City Hall, LuÃsa Salgueiro, was this Sunday, May 14, in the Parish Church for a guided tour of the space after these improvement works, accompanied by the parish priest António Augusto Teixeira de Sousa.
