Fireworks lit up the city sky
The festivities in honour of Nossa Senhora da Hora have been taking place since 28 April and continue until 18 May. This Sunday, 14 May, one of the highlights of the programme took place with the fireworks that lit up the city sky.
The Mayor, LuÃsa Salgueiro, was present, as well as the Vice-president, Carlos Mouta, the President of the Council of the Union of the Parishes of S. Mamede de Infesta and Senhora da Hora, Leonardo Fernandes, the President of the Parish Assembly, Valentim Campos and the parish priest Amaro Gonçalo of the Parish of Nossa Senhora da Hora.
This Sunday, at 3.30pm, there was a concert of sacred music at the Parish Church and next Wednesday, 17th May, there will be a candle procession, starting at Avenida Eng. Azevedo Coutinho. On Thursday, May 18, at 11 am, a solemn mass will be celebrated in the Parish Church.
