The CP train drivers' strike began at the beginning of April and since then has caused serious constraints in the circulation of trains

This Thursday, April 6, the eve of a public holiday, until 8am, 138 of the 254 scheduled trains had been suppressed, mostly in the Porto and Lisbon Urban, said CP - Comboios de Portugal, according to Observador.
In the statement posted on its official website, it said some minimum services were set, namely for Alfa Pendular and Intercity, Regional and InterRegional, Lisbon Urban, Porto Urban and Coimbra Urban.
"We expect to carry out most of the regular circulations on the remaining days. See here the list of trains affected each day via our website and plan your journey in advance," he adds.
It should be noted that the strike in question was called by the Train Drivers' Union (SMAQ) and will last until 1 May.
Users who have already purchased tickets to travel on Alfa Pendular, Intercity, International, InterRegional and Regional trains will be able to request "reimbursement, for the total value of the ticket purchased, or its free exchange for another train of the same category and in the same class".
"The refund or exchange can be made at myCP in the area “Your tickets” (for tickets purchased at the Online Ticket Office and CP App) until 15 minutes before the departure of the train from the customer's station of origin, or at the ticket office. After this deadline, and up to 10 days after the end of the strike, refunds can be requested by filling in the contact form online "Refund for Delay or Suppression", with the sending of the scan of the original ticket", the note adds.
