Hospitality and food in the spotlight until next Saturday
Between today and Saturday, Exponor hosts two important events from the hospitality and food sectors.
Organized by Exposalão, DECORHOTEL PORTO - Professional fair of design, construction, decoration, equipment, products and services for hospitality is back for its fifth edition. It is the only fair held in Portugal exclusively dedicated to the hospitality sector and related areas, bringing together hundreds of companies that supply and support this important segment of the national economy.
This year, and given the current scenario, DECORHOTEL PORTO is focused on technological tools for the tourism of the future.
Among the areas present at the fair are the construction, requalification, remodelling and decoration of hotel units and similar.
Alongside DECORHOTEL PORTO, EXPOALIMENTA is being held, a professional fair dedicated to all the companies that supply and support the food sector. Machines, equipment and accessories for preparing, conditioning, packing and processing food and beverages are the areas represented at this fair.
The mayor of Matosinhos, Luisa Salgueiro, and the councillor for Economic Development, Trade and Tourism, Marta Pontes, visited the venue, accompanied by the president of Exposalão, José Vieira Frazão.
Luísa Salgueiro highlighted the dynamism of the hotel and food sectors after the two difficult years of the pandemic and the contribution of the two events to the tourism and economy of Matosinhos and the region.
