The 3rd Edition of the Agricultural Fair took place until September 18th.
The 3rd edition of FEST'AGRO, the largest Agricultural Fair of the Municipality of Matosinhos, has already opened its doors in Largo Dr. Fernando Aroso, in Lavra.
The Mayor of Matosinhos, Luísa Salgueiro, attended the opening of the event, accompanied by the vice-president, Carlos Mouta, the councilor for Economic Development, Trade and Tourism, Marta Pontes, the councilor for Sports and Financial Management, Vasco Pinho, and the president of the Union of Parishes of Perafita, Lavra and Santa Cruz do Bispo, Lurdes Queirós.
After two years on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 3rd edition of FEST'AGRO, returned to Lavra Square (Largo Dr. Fernando Aroso) with more news for visitors, starting with the increase in the number of activities directed to the public, such as discussion forums on topics related to agriculture and livestock, organized visits to farms and sowing and the CÃOMinhada.
At FEST'AGRO, the professionals of the sector will be able to promote their business or activity and also find business opportunities, through the different brands present in the event.
The general public will find a space where they can get to know one of the economic sectors of the county and where there will also be a restaurant space available.
The entertainment is guaranteed with the performances of "Augusto Canário e Amigos", "Cláudia Martins e os Minhotos Marotos" and "Fernando Rocha, João Seabra e João Dantas".
FEST'AGRO is organized by the Parish Union of Perafita, Lavra and Santa Cruz do Bispo, and the Agricultural Cooperative of Matosinhos - Ágrima and is supported by the Municipality of Matosinhos.
