Ryanair announced the reinforcement of the Funchal - Oporto connection during the high season , with eleven weekly flights
The Irish low-cost airline guarantees to be "the largest ever summer schedule in Portugal", the result of an investment of around 400 million euros.
"The schedule, which represents a 7% growth compared to the same period in 2022, will be responsible for carrying more than 730,000 passengers and will support more than 600 local jobs," reads the news advanced by Porto Canal.
Recall that, as previously reported by VIVA!, Ryanair has added 11 new routes from Porto, to Bristol and Leeds (England), Shannon (Ireland), Castellon (Spain), Nimes and Strasbourg (France), Trapani and Turin (Italy), Warsaw (Poland), Maastricht (Netherlands) and Stockholm (Sweden).
