The National Republican Guard (GNR) begins today, March 6, a surveillance operation aimed at the use of seat belts and child restraint systems throughout the territory
The GNR says in a statement that the operation "RoadPol - Safety Devices" extends until Sunday and aims to improve road safety and compliance with road rules.
In 2022, according to the GNR, 20,292 violations were verified for lack of or incorrect use of seat belts and child restraint systems.
