The Lionesa Business Hub, in Leça do Balio, Matosinhos, will take "happiness at work" to Jardim do Balio, where a real campus will be installed around the theme. The event, part of the Month of Companies - Be Matosinhos, takes place on September 29th, and will promote a whole day dedicated to happiness. After all, why is it so important for the future of business and what can companies do to become "a happier place to work"? These and other questions will be answered by several invited professionals, including Milica Jovic, Partner and Chief Heart Officer of Heartcount, and Rigobert Kefferputz, MD.

Registration for the event is now open.

In total, there are 15 speakers and more than 1500 participants, gathered in 6 hours of conversation to talk about the concept of happiness in its various forms.

For the Mayor of Matosinhos, Luísa Salgueiro, "attracting and retaining talent is one of the cities' biggest challenges. "Attracting and retaining large companies implies endowing the territories with all the valences that promote quality of life. Happiness is a multidisciplinary concept to which municipalities, companies, institutions and people can contribute in equal measure," says the mayor.

"The era of depression and burnout, are we destined to a tragic life", with Sofia de Castro Fernandes, Author, Founder and CEO of àsnove academy & happiness lab, "Unhappiness does not define you", with Jorge Coutinho, Author, Cooach and CEO of Be:coach, and "New Ways of Working: How Can AI Contribute to Workplaces Happiness", with the robot Cruzr, Community Happiness Assistant from Lionesa Business Hub, are other talks that integrate the program.

Rigobert Kefferputz, Mary Helen Ribeiro Pombo, Inês Vaz Pereira, Inês Monteiro Castro, Diogo Silva, Madalena Carey, António Maria Gonçalves, Rita Viana, Marta Bastos dos Santos and Teresa Cabaral Menezes, will be present in the event.

"Understanding what happiness is" is the motto of the initiative, which was born with the purpose of helping citizens decode what they can do to become happier, both personally and professionally. The topic in question is of particular importance to the Lionesa Business Hub, which has been working hard since the beginning to make the workplace "a happy place".

At the end of the Happiness Camp, the participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a sunset party and a concert with the singer and composer Pedro Abrunhosa.
