Liberty Seguros creates Liberty For Women to promote female talent

Aligned with the goal of making Liberty Seguros an inclusive and equitable place, Liberty For Women aims to promote leadership and give visibility to female talent

The innovative program was launched by the Council for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, an internal body of Liberty Seguros in Europe, created to ensure diversity and equal opportunities for all its employees. Following the learning and success of the first edition in Spain last year, Liberty For Women now comes to Portugal.

Liberty For Women reinforces the insurer's commitment and is included in the training offer for the mediation network. Its main objectives are to build an action plan to develop confidence, communication skills and emotional agility, as well as to promote self-awareness and recognition of leadership skills and to develop personal branding.

"We are working to make Liberty an increasingly people-focused place that focuses on people and their different characteristics. This exclusive program is intended to play a strong role in raising awareness of each person's responsibility in building a Diverse, Equitable and Inclusive space, and to create greater proximity and a relationship of trust with the mediation network," explains Rita Almeida, commercial director of traditional mediation at Liberty Portugal and Ireland. "We want to be an insurer where customers and employees feel included and listened to in the same way," she concludes.
