Lionesa Business Hub announces €60 million investment

New offices, flex living solutions, and large green areas, notably the Philosophical Garden, are part of the investment. Find out everything here.

The Lionesa Business Hub group, based in Leça do Balio, is set to invest €60 million in expansion.

The “southern expansion” of the space began in 2025, which already houses around 7,000 workers of 47 nationalities. Scheduled for 2027, the investment of over €50 million will provide new offices, “flex living” solutions, and large green areas, with the Philosophical Garden as the central feature.

The Lionesa Sports & Leisure Club is part of the “northern expansion,” scheduled to open in 2028. The investment of around €5 million will see “upgrades to the existing campus, strengthening technological infrastructure, sustainability solutions, flexibility of spaces, and well-being conditions,” according to the business group's statement.

The Lionesa Business Hub also highlighted that last year, it welcomed more than 500 new professionals and five new companies. In the same year, with the reopening of the Leixões Line, the campus was connected to other parts of the Porto district, complemented by a free shuttle service.
