In collaboration with the artist JR's Inside Out project, the biggest cultural manifesto ever in Portugal will be made in terms of participatory art. To this end, 1,500 portraits are being collected and will fill the Monastery of Leça do Balio with anonymous figures, but also personalities of enormous national and international prestige, such as Salman Rushdie, Nelson Mandela, Gilberto Gil or Mário Soares.
Alongside this exhibition, "ALEA", a sound installation by Diana Policarpo, will be presented, offering an immersive listening experience.
This ceremony will also see the presentation of the 2024 programme, with the theme "Disinformation". As an organisation that promotes democratic culture, critical thinking and digital education, they decided to follow this path after the Global Risks Report 2024 revealed that disinformation is the main global risk.
