The National Institute for Rehabilitation, I.P. (INR), the Portuguese Environment Agency, I.P. (APA) and Tourism of Portugal, I.P. (TP), will be present at the Lisbon Tourism Fair (BTL), for the delivery of the "Beach + Accessible" 2022 Award, on March 3, at 5:30 p.m., at the stand of Tourism of Porto and North of Portugal
This session will be attended by the Secretary of State for Tourism, Commerce and Services, Nuno Fazenda, the Secretary of State for Inclusion, Ana Sofia Antunes, the Chairman of the Board of INR, Rodrigo Ramos, and members of the National Jury of the "Accessible Beach +" Award.
The award of the Program "Accessible Beach - Beach for All!" is awarded annually to Portuguese bathing areas that ensure conditions of accessibility, safety, comfort, autonomy and independence for people with mobility impairments, thus providing them a enjoyment with equity and dignity in these leisure spaces.
The municipality of Matosinhos is awarded with 4 accessible beaches:

Cabo do Mundo - With amphibious chair
Leça da Palmeira - With amphibious chair
