The new price list for parking lots was approved at the executive meeting this Monday, December 19, and seeks to standardize the price list at all municipal facilities, at a time when some parking lots are under STCP - Serviços management (Praça de Lisboa and Palácio da Justiça)
Thus, the three parking lots managed by the municipal company Ágora - Silo Auto, Poveiros and Palácio de Cristal - will have new prices from the beginning of 2023. The monthly rental fee for residents will now be 40 euros, an increase of 10 euros over the price charged in 2022.
As for the monthly rental fees, the value of 80 euros for the general public remains unchanged in the parks of Silo Auto and Poveiros. In the Crystal Palace the value will be updated according to the price table practiced in the other parks.
The value of parking rotation of 1 euro in the first hour and 1.20 euros in the following hours will be uniform throughout 24 hours, being the tabulated value of 1.20 euros.
The pre-paid cards also suffer changes on the first day of the year: the 48-hour card, with a value of 35 euros, and the 72-hour card, with a price of 50 euros. In the Silo Auto Park, the 24-hour prepaid card will no longer be available, and there will only be the aforementioned types of prepaid cards.
As far as the merchants are concerned, the rentals in the parks of Poveiros and Palácio de Cristal will now cost 65 euros.
This update of prices and modalities, which will be applied across the three parks under Ágora management, will take effect on January 1st, 2023. This is a revision that has not been done for four years and is due to the recent generalized rise in prices of goods and services.
After a long period of maintaining the prices in the municipal parking lots, these changes balance the supply and demand for rotation parking, benefiting, in all cases, the residents and merchants who continue to have permanent parking solutions in these facilities at very affordable prices.
The change in tariffs also covers the remaining municipal parking lots.
