The city of Porto will once again host a new edition of the "Passeio dos Ingleses", considered "the largest ride in Europe of classics of a single nationality"
The parade is scheduled for next Saturday, January 21, and takes place simultaneously in the Portuguese capital.
The organization expects, in this 19th edition, more than 300 cars. Several emblematic models are expected, such as "Bentley, sponsor brand of the event, Jaguar, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, MG, Triumph, Lotus, Austin-Healey or Morgan.
"Among these [aficionados around the world] was Elizabeth II, the world's most famous monarch, who died on September 8, 2022. In 96 years of her life, British cars were a constant presence in the public appearances of the Queen of England, owner of a remarkable private collection that she frequently drove," they recall in a statement.
In Porto, the program starts at the Passeio Alegre and continues to Minho, where participants will enjoy lunch. But even before that, the peloton will split into two groups for a visit to Ponte de Lima, while the sporting side will compete in a regularity race at the Viana do Castelo Karting Track.
